How to make creamy oatmeal on the stove?

Can oatmeal help lower cholesterol levels?

Researchers have found a link between the consumption of oatmeal and lower cholesterol levels. Recent research has shown that eating oatmeal on a regular basis lowers cholesterol levels and reduces the risk of developing heart disease.
In a study involving over 100 patients, one group was placed on the oatmeal diet for two months.
By the end of the study, their cholesterol level had lowered significantly. All participants also lost weight on the oatmeal diet.
The researchers concluded that eating oatmeal daily is a healthy way to lower cholesterol levels and aid in weight loss.
Oatmeal lowers cholesterol!
Oatmeal can help you lose weight and keep it off, lower your risk for heart disease and diabetes, and have healthier skin, hair and nails–but only if you don’t add sugar or cream to one of the healthiest foods on earth.
Eating oatmeal (also called porridge) regularly helps lower cholesterol levels because it contains beta-glucan, a kind of soluble fiber. By eating oatmeal, you’re increasing the amount of beta-glucan in your blood which can reduce bad cholesterol (LDL). A person with high cholesterol who eats oatmeal every day will notice a significant drop in their LDL number.
