Groups & Workshops

Circle of Life Workshops
A holistic health and wellness coaching program incorporating mind/body practices.

The Circle of Life program is a structured process for taking charge of your life and creating greater health and well being.  It is a simple yet highly effective method for making positive changes in your life, such as reducing stress, eating healthier, and exercising more. The process emphasizes balance and nurturing one’s body, mind, and spirit. In this workshop you will learn a step-by-step process that you can use over and over again to create lasting lifestyle changes. The Circle of Life is a comprehensive program for stress mastery, integrative medicine, and personal effectiveness that engages each participant on multiple levels -- physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual. Purposefully designed to be practical and easy to implement. Use your strengths to find solutions to the challenges that hold you back. Can be adapted to work with any population: women, stress, reduction, diabetes, obesity, chronic pain, etc. Group meets 2 hours weekly for 8 weeks. The format can be modified and the Circle of Life process can be done during a weekend retreat or in a conference breakout session.

Healthy Changes Workshops
A workshop focused on supporting men and women to make successful lifestyle changes.

Having trouble making the healthy lifestyle changes you really want to make?  In this class you will learn ways to make weight loss and/or sticking to an exercise routine easier for yourself.  Discover how to keep yourself motivated with useful strategies and specific tools that work to keep you on track toward your goals. Group meets for one two hour session. Adapted from a workshop developed by my amazing friend and colleague, Lori Frison.

One Balanced Life Workshops
A workshop focused on supporting people to create a sense of well-being and balance.

Does your life feel out of balance? In this fun and creative workshop you will learn about balance and self-care. Assess your life, clarify what is important, and learn a process for taking small steps toward creating a life of balance. Group meets for one two hour workshop.

Mind Body Workshops for Mothers
A workshop focused on the exploring the journey of motherhood.

Examine your transition to motherhood and challenge your expectations. Explore the side of motherhood few women talk about. Learn how to take better care of yourself, improve life balance, and how to “be in the moment.” Explore a new mind/body practice each week that will reduce your stress and give you more energy.

Redefinition Workshops for Mothers
A workshop specifically designed for women interested in self-discovery and redefining their lives after the birth of a child.

Explore the transition to motherhood and how it has changed your life. Rediscover your values and define your purpose. Feel more balanced, inspired, and at peace with your life. Group meets for one 3 hour workshop

Personal Renewal Groups
A supportive, nurturing, empowering group for mothers that meets once a month for 6 months to share in reclaiming, rebalancing, and reconnecting.

This is a Personal Renewal Group (PRG) for mothers, created specifically to explore and learn 1)how to “reconnect” with who you are, 2)strategies for making self-care a priority so you can live, love, and parent optimally, and 3)how to experience greater life balance. Each monthly session includes discussion, exercises, reflection time,  etc. Develop community and meaningful connection with other mamas.
